PTZ

More households will be eligible in 2024

The zero-rate loan (PTZ) will be extended until 2027 and refocused on the purchase of new multi-family dwellings in high-income areas or older dwellings with work carried out in low-income areas, and will undergo further changes in 2024. The income threshold to qualify for this interest-free loan will be raised for the first two income brackets. More people should therefore be able to benefit. And a fourth income bracket (between €37,000 and €49,000 a year) will be created for households that are not currently eligible, with the proportion of the transaction that can be financed with a PTZ at 20%, representing an average of €5,000 in State aid. To help the most modest borrowers, the percentage of their project that can be financed with this loan will rise from 40% to 50%. This represents assistance of up to €10,000 per household.
