According to a study by Belles Demeures, a website specializing in luxury real estate, this market is still doing just as well in France, with prices up 7.9% in June year-on-year, unlike the traditional real estate market which tends to decline. A luxury property therefore sells for an average of €7,395 per m² on national territory. The appeal of the mountain destination is confirmed, its high-end real estate responding to new post-Covid aspirations. Thus, the ski resorts of the Alps stand out in particular, marked by an increase in the price of chalets of 11.5% in one year, to reach €8,124 per m² on average.
