Property purchase

The French still want to become homeowners

According to a study by the Conseil supérieur du notariat (CSN), carried out in partnership with Ifop, 46% of French people believe it is important to own their own property, despite the complicated real estate environment. In all, 59% consider it to be economically more attractive. It's a goal for 59% of French people currently renting, who want to own their own home before they retire. For 65%, home ownership is associated with freedom rather than constraint.
