Purchase

The PTZ is extended but recentered

The zero-rate loan (PTZ), an interest-free loan to be repaid, was to end on December 31, 2023, but the government has indicated that it wants to extend it until 2027. However, the system will be refocused on collective housing new ones located in tense areas. It will therefore no longer be possible to partially finance the purchase or construction of a detached house using this loan. Another novelty: in relaxed areas, only old dwellings subject to renovation work will be eligible for the PTZ. Namely, this assisted loan is granted subject to means testing. In addition, you must not have owned your main residence during the two years preceding the PTZ application.
