The Pinel removed at the end of 2024

During the conclusions of the National Council for Refoundation (CNR) for housing, Prime Minister Élisabeth Borne announced the end of the Pinel tax exemption system on December 31, 2024. Since 2014, it has allowed individuals who buy new housing , with a view to renting it, to benefit under certain conditions from an advantageous tax reduction. But this has decreased since January 2023, to refocus the system on the purchase of housing that meets environmental and quality criteria. Called Pinel +, this new version, which cohabits with the classic Pinel, makes it possible to retain the tax advantage at the full rate. We will have to wait for the next finance law, which will be adopted at the end of December 2023, to find out if another new tax exemption system will be put in place.
