The charm of the hamlets and resorts of Peisey-Vallandry

Made up of around ten hamlets, the resort of Peisey-Vallandry attracts many buyers for its authenticity and the Paradiski area to which it is linked.

Peisey-Vallandry's real estate offer is characterised by its diversity. This diversity is rooted in the resort's geography. It is in fact the union of two twin resorts, Plan Peisey and Vallandry, each located on the communes of Peisey-Nancroix and Landry respectively, towns with an authentic charm.

"Housing is not exactly the same everywhere," explains Amandine Collet, expert property consultant for Foncia Tarentaise Les Arcs-Peisey. Depending on your wishes, here are the characteristics of the main areas of Peisey-Vallandry.

Landry

Halfway between Bourg-Saint-Maurice and Aime, the village of Landry is made up of a main town and a number of hamlets: le Villard, le Chêne, le Martorey, le Parchet...". There are flats, houses and chalets. The most affordable prices are often found in Landry, at between €3,500 and €4,000 per m² for all types of property, all of which have already been renovated," explains Amandine Collet.

Peisey-Nancroix

This is the resort's other village. Peisey-Nancroix consists of a village with the hamlets of Peisey (le Villaret, les Arches, le Frenay, le Moulin) on one side and those of Nancroix (le Pascieu, la Chénarie, Pracompuet, les Lanches...) on the other.

Peisey-Nancroix's narrow, authentic streets wind between large stone houses. "Renovated, they sell for between €3,500 and €4,500 per m². Those in need of complete renovation sell for around €1,500 per m²," she adds.

Vallandry

Situated at an altitude of 1,600 metres, the resort in the commune of Landry is an "integrated resort": you don't need a car to get around, everything can be done on foot, which is typical of the resorts developed under the Snow Plan of the 1960s and 1970s.

"In terms of property, there are studio-cabins, T2s, T3s and T4s, as well as individual chalets. To buy in Vallandry, you'll need to calculate between €5,000 and €7,000 per m² for a flat and between €9,000 and €11,000 per m² for a chalet," explains Amandine Collet.

Plan Peisey

At an altitude of 1,650 metres, Plan Peisey is the other part of the ski resort. Made up of tastefully restored traditional buildings, small residential complexes and a number of renovated old chalets, it is a popular choice for families looking for a peaceful break: "Here, you can expect to pay between €4,500 and €5,000 per m² for a flat to be renovated, and €7,000 per m² if it has already been renovated. As for the chalets, prices range from €8,000 to €9,000 per m²," she explains.
